What we collect

When you request a town website we store your email address, the town you chose, and whether you offered to moderate.

To block abuse we keep a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser’s user-agent. We can’t turn the hash back into your IP address.

How we use it

We use your email only to tell you about your town’s Townledge site and, if you offered, about moderating it. We don’t sell or rent your information.

Cookies

We set one session cookie that protects the request form from forgery. It ends when you close your browser.
